STAY at Home or GO to Studio?!?!

As we are in our final week of exercising from the safety and comfort of our homes after three months, we are now faced with the delightful opportunity to go and workout back in studios and gyms... but do we really want to go back?!

The answer will always be, yes of course! But, in the past few months, we have been able to form new habits and new routines for our workouts and for our safety. That's where the dilemma comes in to question, are we willing to go back to our "old" routines, and will we be safe?

I have personally loved that I have been able to teach friends and clients from different cities within Australia and around the world via my online classes. This is something that I could never have achieved by teaching in studios only. I have also been able to take some of my favourite instructor's classes from cities I used to live in. Whilst we were keeping safe in our homes, we were able to connect on such a huge scale, this is one beautiful outtake from the past three and a half months.

With the protests that have been taking place globally, following on from the COVID19 pandemic, there is no going back, only moving forward. Moving forward also includes our ways of doing things, create change and positively impacting the world around us. So with that being said...if you've been enjoying your new ways of exercising and staying fit, then keep going! If you're desperate to get back into a studio and have that energy and vibe you get from working out with others, then get back there and support your instructors and local studios!

There is no right or wrong here - as long as we are all moving our bodies, creating the energy, creating the change and moving forward to create a positive impact on ourselves and one another.

As per the words of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, "You must always have faith in people, and most importantly, you must always have faith in yourself".

Would love to hear how you've been keeping fit during the closure of gyms and studios the past few months. What is it that you've been doing different that want to keep doing? Have you done any workouts from instructors/studios around the world? Please feel free to reach out: info@thegoldeffect.net
